Around the age of fourteen, I was your typical aspiring young guitar player, learning the Rock and Metal riffs that appeal to every teenage player. I eventually began to take interest in the intricacies of the softer parts of certain songs. In particular, I was intrigued by the playing of Kirk Hammet and Randy Rhodes, both of whom are classically trained. An uncle of mine, who is also a musician (he taught me to play 'Blackbird' by the Beatles), noticed this interest and made me a cassette tape --one side of John Williams and the other of Leona Boyd-- that would change my life forever. This led me to discover the legacy of Andres Segovia, the true father of classical guitar, and also Christopher Parkening, Segovia's prodigal student and heir to his throne as the greatest living performer of classical guitar.

I took lessons at the church near my house for a few years, and have maintained the hobby ever since.

Classical guitar in the background can add an air of peacefullness and elegance to any occasion, and if you are planning an event that you think might benefit from my playing, please do not hesitate to contact me. I will do my best to accommodate any of your requests, and I will look forward to helping you plan an occasion that you and your guests will remember forever.
